This is the key to understand “Pane & Olio”, the event that every year celebrates the olive harvest and Ligurian DOP extra virgin olive oil, a typical product of the area.
The event, promoted by the Municipality of Sestri Levante together with Mediaterraneo Servizi, conceived by the Mare in Italy association, designed and managed by Totem Eventi in collaboration with the National Association La Compagnia dei Sapori, offers 10 days full of events.
Workshops for adults and children, show-cooking, exhibitions, guided tours to local olive groves and mills, thematic dinners and short tasting brunches, the historical re-enactment of seine fishing, milling demonstrations, competitions and activities for schools.
